Building the Best: The World's Biggest Airliner The Airbus A380
In May, Airbus Industries, the world's largest plane maker, flew its 800+ seater A380 for the first time. The double-decker A380 plane has a wingspan of 80 metres It is 73 metres long and weighs as much as 550 tonnes when fully loaded for takeoff.
