Chemistry Against Crime lecture as part of the BA Festival of Science
Monday 5th September, 10:00-10:45am & 14:00-14:45pm at DCU
As part of the BA Festival of Science taking place from 3rd to 10th September next, Dr John Fox of DIT's School of Pharmaceutical & Chemical Sciences along with Dr Sean McDermott, Head of Biology, State Forensic Laboratory will present a demonstration lecture outlining how Chemistry is used by forensic scientists to solve crime.
Expect bloodstains, footprints, reconstructions of the scene of crime and hopefully an insight into how the mind of a forensic scientist works! Aimed at 14-16 age group.
