DIT Open Day
DIT's annual Open Day took place in Aungier Street on Saturday 15 January, with participation from all faculties. Once again Vincent O'Hora and his team in the Admissions Office organised an excellent event, with the help of portering staff, technicians, students and academics. Thousands of prospective students came through the doors to browse at the various stands and to attend the presentations made throughout the day. The objective was to ensure they had the right information to help them to choose from DIT's 77 degree and certificate programmes when they complete their CAO form at the end of this month.
This event gets livelier every year, with music, jugglers, live radio and some outstanding display stands. Vincent O'Hora has expressed his thanks to all who contributed to the success of the day, in particular to Peter Masterson and his portering team in Aungier Street who facilitated the set-up and dismantling of the extensive exhibitions.
