Using Assistive Technology to Facilitate People with Disabilities Participating in the Workplace
DIT's Corporate Training Unit, and Enable Ireland are jointly hosting a Breakfast Briefing on Assistive Technology in the Workplace and how it can facilitate participation of people with disabilities. The Briefing will address how relatively simple solutions, such as electronic door openers or word prediction software, can assist colleagues with varying levels of disability. Types of technology, assessment of needs and accessing funding will also be addressed. The Briefing will be of interest to managers and human resource and training practitioners.
