Innovation remains at the heart of successful business development and competitiveness and in today's dynamic and increasingly global marketplace, its role cannot be overstated. The construction sector has witnessed an extraordinary level of growth in recent years which has been underpinned and supported by continuous innovation in product development. Timber has played a significant role in this area and, as part of the DIT Timber Sector Training Initiative, this seminar will examine the past and current environment for innovation in timber products and highlight some of the current timber products that are impacting on the construction sector.
The seminar will facilitate an open exchange of views and ideas from across the timber and construction sector and will be aimed at specifers, processors, manufacturers, timber trading companies and construction companies which speakers are drawn from both Ireland and aboard to capture the experiences of practitioners in other countries.
