A New Challenge for Irish Education; a National Symposium on Community-Based Learning
DIT will host 'A New Challenge for Irish Education'; a National Symposium on Community-Based Learning on Tuesday 22nd May in Dublin Castle. The symposium will explore recent developments, various models and best practices in community-based learning across a range of academic fields. Speakers from the US, Britain and Ireland will look at how classroom and community-based work can be linked across further and higher education.
The Symposium offers the opportunity in a series of workshops to look at how academic and community groups can form sustainable partnerships, as well as ways in which those partners can create new educational and social resources.
