Dublin Institute of Technology holds its inaugural Postgraduate Research Conference in DIT Aungier Street on Tuesday 09 and Wednesday 10 September, showcasing an impressive range of exciting postgraduate research which is currently underway within each of the Institute's six faculties.

The conference, which will be attended by students as well as academic and research staff, is designed to provide an opportunity for those postgraduates already engaged in research to present their work publicly and receive feedback. It is also hoped that it will inspire other students to undertake research of their own.

In parallel with the conference presentations, there will be a research poster competition in the lobby of DIT Aungier Street, to which everyone is welcome.

The conference has been organised by Bob Kavanagh and Nicole O'Neill, of DIT's Graduate Studies and Research unit. In an exciting development for DIT, the proceedings can be viewed on the web, thanks to the support and assistance of HEAnet.
