The tenor soloist will be Peter Kelly, student of Mary Brennan in the DIT Conservatory of Music & Drama.

The programme:

The concert opens with one of the most beautiful and serene of all madrigals, The Silver Swan by Orlando Gibbons. There are also madrigals by Monteverdi and Morley. From the present day, the choir sings Double, Double, Toil and Trouble by leading Finnish choral composer Mantyjarvi, and A Song for St. Cecilia¹s Day by Irish composer Rhona Clarke. The recital finishes with three spirituals.

The choir continues to hold the Feis Ceoil's Culwick Cup for Chamber Choirs which it has won every year since 1996.
