DIT Lecturer appointed to Board of the new National Tourism Development Authority

Dominic Dillane, lecturer in statistics and operations research at DIT Cathal Brugha Street has been appointed to the Board of the new Tourism Development Authority. The members of the National Tourism Development Authority were announced recently by the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism Mr. John O'Donoghue T.D. The new Authority, known as Failte Ireland, will be formally established on the 28th May 2003. On that date Bord Failte Eireann and CERT will be dissolved and their functions transferred to the new Authority.
