DIT students make the cut for prestigious film festivals

Two films made by students in DIT's School of Media have been accepted into upcoming national and international film festivals.

'Full Circle', directed by Simon Fitzmaurice (MA Film), has been accepted into the Kerry, and Cork Film Festivals. The 14 minute short has also been accepted into the prestigious New York University (NYU) Film Festival, noted for only showcasing the top student films worldwide.

'Screwed', made by the 4th Year BSc in Film and Broadcasting students, is also making an impact internationally having recently been accepted into the Swedish Film Fest, along with the Kerry and Cork Film Festivals.
