BAZAART.... by DIT fine art students

Students in their third year of DIT's Fine Art Degree programme describe BAZAART as 'a random concoction of new student artwork including painting, sculpture, video, drawing, photography, installation, print, performance and animation'!

According to Joan Healy, one of the organisers, BAZAART came about when twenty students in her class got together to mount this eclectic exhibition of some of their year's work. Actor Eamonn O'Neill, renowned in particular for his performance in Neil Jordan's film of 'The Butcher Boy', has agreed to officially launch the exhibition tonight, Thursday 5th August at 6pm, in the Office of Public Works on St. Stephens Green, Dublin.

BAZAART willl remain on view until 26th August, and will be open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, at The Office of Public Works,  51 St. Stephen's Green.
