Logistics Ireland 2004

All-island conference will focus on how Supply Chain Management can cut costs and increase profits

Logistics Ireland 2004, the island's largest Supply Chain Management (SCM) conference takes place on Thursday 18th November in Dublin Castle. The one day conference, organised by NITL (National Institute for Transport & Logistics), will address how businesses, regardless of their size or industry sector, can improve customer service, reduce costs and increase profits through effective SCM

Speakers include An Tánaiste, Ms Mary Harney T.D., Mr Jim Power, Friends First, one of Ireland's foremost economic commentators, Mr Denis Staunton, European Correspondent of the Irish Times, Mr Patrick Hurst, WrightBus Ltd, one of Northern Ireland's manufacturing success stories and Mr Jamie Delargy, Business Correspondent, UTV .

The conference will feature a series of SCM workshops (Food & Drink; Pharma/Medical Devices; Transport/Freight Forwarding; SMEs in Manufacturing) that will include examples of SCM in action.

Logistics Ireland 2004 is hosted and organised by NITL in association with Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland and Invest Northern Ireland. The conference partners are IBEC/CBI Joint Business Council, Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (Ireland) and The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (UK).

The delegate fee for Logistics Ireland 2004 is €245 plus VAT.
