Architecture students mount Grangegorman Exhibition

Students from DIT's School of Architecture are undertaking project work throughout this year on the Grangegorman camps development. They have already built a model campus to scale, and have held a master-planning competition. The winning plan has been chosen and the students are now working on the next stage which includes developing schemes for the library building - one of the key hubs of the new campus.

For all of this week you can see the scale model and an exhibition of the in-depth survey carried out in the area for the masterplan on display in DIT Aungier Street. Everyone is welcome to drop in - the display is located on the student union stage area as you go downstairs from Café Java.
