Drawing Perspectives

Dublin, 24th & 25th January, 2006: The DrawingLab (a research project funded by the Faculty of Applied Arts and based in the School of Art, Design and Printing) collaborated with the Irish Museum of Modern Art to host a Symposium and Seminar on Drawing at IMMA.

The Symposium was attended by 30 researchers and it resulted in the establishment of a research collaboration entitled 'Triptych', between Dublin Institute of Technology, Kingston University and Loughborough University.

The Seminar was held on the afternoon of January 25th and attracted an audience of 400 people to the Great Hall at the Irish Museum of Modern Art. Responses to the Seminar have been very positive, people contacting IMMA have described the event as 'inspiring'.
