DIT Welcomes Students  for The 2008/2009 Academic Year

The President and staff of Dublin Institute of Technology are delighted to welcome all new and returning students for the Academic Year 2008/2009.

Whether you’re an undergraduate, post-graduate or part-time student we are confident that you will enjoy your time at DIT and find it an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

With a distinguished history stretching back over 120 years, DIT has developed into one of Ireland's largest, and certainly most diverse, 'third-level' institutions with over 20, 000 students from over 70 countries.

Despite our size, DIT retains small class sizes so academics and students to get to know each other on a first- name basis. In addition, our student services are second to none and are available to you from day one to help you deal with any issues - academic, personal or future career decisions.

Of course, the college experience is not just about studying. Joining a society or a sports club is a great way to get to meet new friends and really get involved in campus life. Why not drop by one of the stands during Freshers’ Week and find out more?

Look forward to seeing you on campus.
