Pancake Philanthropy – Giving never tasted this good

February 15th 2010

DIT Culinary Arts students to offer pancakes for charity

The DIT Culinary Arts Food & Appreciation Society (CAFA) will be hosting Pancake Tuesday in both the Bolton Street and Cathal Brugha Street campuses tomorrow, 16th February in aid of the Oxfam Haiti Appeal and Crumlin Childrens Hospital.

CAFA’s task for the day is to make giving to these two worthy causes taste as good as it can, so from ten in the morning until three in the afternoon members of the Society will be selling pancakes and a cup of tea for a €2 donation.  To sweeten the deal you can also enter the pancake flipping competition and win a free Zorbing trip.

So, get yourself down to either the Cathal Brugha or Bolton Street DIT before 3pm tomorrow –giving is sure to never taste this good!
