DIT students "Banding Together for SVP" tonight the 8th Of December in the Button Factory

Students from DIT?s Gig Society and a number of Dublin bands are banding together for this year?s DIT St. Vincent de Paul (SVP) Christmas appeal. Taking to the stage in the Button Factory on Tonight Wednesday 8th December Lost In Flight, Heroes in Hiding and three of DIT?s own bands David was an Acrobat and Little Lion Men.  ?Lost in Flight frontman Dan Fox said ?Lost in Flight are delighted to be able to play a part in such a great cause. SVP is an excellent charity and we are honoured that we have been given a chance to help them and others who are less fortunate this Christmas?

The event is being organised as part of DIT?s week long SVP appeal taking place from 6th-10th of December. All proceeds from the event will be donated to St Vincent de Paul so that the most vulnerable children and families can have a happier Christmas.  Tickets for Banding together for SVP are priced at €7 with all proceeds going to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Tickets are available from all DIT Student Union Shops and from Tickets.ie.


DIT student Emmet Smith from DIT Gig Soc says ?This year we have decided to rock around the Christmas tree for a good cause.  It?s going to be an even tougher Christmas than last year with many families dreading the upcoming budget so we hope our efforts will bring some Christmas cheer to those who need it most.?
