22nd December 2010

In September this year DIT rolled out a new centralised and streamlined registration service.  To encourage students to register early, those who did so before 17th September were entered in a draw, with three iPods to be won and five 12-month memberships of the DIT Fit2Go Sports Facilties.  Last week the winners of three iPods were presented with an early Christmas present.  They were:

  • Michael Egan, studying Tourism Marketing
  • Niamh Mooney, studying Health and Nutrition for Culinary Arts
  • Andris Laurens, studying Logistics and Supply Chain Management

They were presented with their prizes by Ms Teresa Ward, Head of Registration.  The five winners of the 12-month membership of the DIT Fit2Go, donated by the DIT Sports Service, are:

  • Mikey Clancy, studying Marketing
  • Paul Sullivan, studying Construction Economics and Management
  • Claire O’ Halloran, studying  Culinary Arts
  • Emily Mullen, studying Human Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Michael Dunne, studying Creative Industries

The registration process was very successful, and Teresa Ward and her team would like to thank students for cooperating with the changed system.  Having learnt from the roll-out this year, it is anticipated that next year will be even better!
