€8000 Prize fund for student enterprise competition

The Bolton Trust/DIT Student Enterprise Competition 2012 is open to any group of DIT students with a business plan.  The competition is now in its 18th year and has been responsible from encouraging hundreds of young entrepreneurs to get together to test their bright ideas.  Undergraduate and postgraduate students of any discipline in DIT are welcome to enter, so whether you're studying music or engineering, food science or business, why not start thinking about how you can share in this year’s €8000 Prize Fund?

The Bolton Trust encourages and promotes new business enterprise in Ireland. We are an independent voluntary trust actively committed to assisting people create sustainable business.  It was established in 1986 by staff of the Dublin Institute of Technology, and currently has over 200 members. This membership is largely drawn from the various disciplines of DIT and from Ireland’s entrepreneurial community. The expertise of the Trust can be mobilised to help budding entrepreneurs to create new business enterprise.
