Recent DIT graduate Fiona Dolan, with some of the children she met in India last summer.
Fiona was awarded the DIT Corporate Social Responsibility grant to help cover her costs.

22nd November 2011: The Suas Volunteer Programme provides an opportunity to work overseas for 10 weeks; with 9 weeks in a community-based school or educational project in India or Kenya. The Programme will give you the opportunity to develop your professional skills, work in a team and learn about development issues in our interconnected world.

Since 2002, 702 Suas Volunteers have worked with our overseas Partners; the dedication of previous participants has enabled the continuation and development of the Programme. Today, the Volunteer Programme continues to evolve; building upon the success of previous years and responding to the ongoing challenges faced by each partner organisation.

This is an amazing opportunity to have an incredible summer working with some of the worlds least privileged children. Come along to the information evening to find out more!

Applications close on the 15th of December and more information can be found at www.suas.ie, on the Facebook event page, or in the video below.
