IT Programme Graduation at the Mansion House

Gerard Dempsey Receives His Certs From Lord Mayor Gerry Breen

On Friday April 1st participants from the IT Programme in the St John Bosco Youth Centre Drimnagh graduated in the Mansion House. The Lord Mayor Gerry Breen presented certs to the young people from Dublin 12 who completed the IT programme which included IC3 Computers, Digital Creator, Dublin Community Television Media Studies, First Aid, Manual Handling, Safe Pass, and CV & Interview skills. Students also completed a Start Your Own Business Course and Web Design Course which were supported by the Dublin Institute of Technology Community Links Programme under the Computer Learning in Communities Programme (CLiC). CLiC provides hardware, software, technical support and a range of training courses across 22 inner-city community centres. One of the centres supported in this manner is the St. John Bosco Youth Centre in Drimnagh. For further information see www.clicdublin.ie
