DIT Evening programmes in Welding now enrolling

homepageWelding2012.jpg 27th August 2012: The Department of Metal Fabrication in the School of Manufacturing and Design Engineering is currently enrolling for its evening programmes in Coded Welding. These programmes run annually and are normally in very high demand.  At the end of each course participants will complete the examinations for coded welding standards ASME IX and EN 287. Achievement of the coded standard enables a welder to work onsite unsupervised and this substantially increases ones employability and enhances the capability of the company with which they may be employed. This year the courses will run for ten weeks, two nights each week and are scheduled to start on September 26th. Applicants are advised to complete application forms and submit fee payments as early possible as places are limited to 16 participants on each course.
