DIT Societies Volunteering Induction Project 2012

17 September 2012: Over 40 “freshers” took part in the now annual DIT Societies Volunteering Induction Project last Friday. They took part in a clean up of the banks of the Royal Canal. This initiative is to give freshers the opportunity to get involved with volunteering and to act a social mechanism and allow them to meet students from different schools and courses.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable event, and a special thanks goes to all who got involved.

Further photographs of the day can be found on the Societies Office Volunteering facebook page - also check out a short video of the event below.
