Allegro Music Summer School 21 & 22 June 2012
18th June 2012: The Allegro music programme for adults is returning, this time with a summer school on the 21st and 22nd June. The programme will include creative workshops on:
- Listening, Singing & Composition
- Art and Music
- Design and Music*
- Music in the Literature of James Joyce*
- Live Music
This is a unique adult education event open to anyone over 18 and no musical experience is required. It is a multidisciplinary programme that links music, visual art and sculpture, literature, design and film. There are two live performances on each day (IMMA – admission free) and the National Concert Hall (tickets not included in cost). It is being held in three different venues to heighten the aesthetic quality of experience for participants.
Friday will include wine reception and live Spanish/South American Music by Kazemi, Sandoval y Cia.
A certificate of attendance will be given to participants. The programme is run in association with the Irish Museum of Modern Art & National Concert Hall.

1 Day: €60
2 Days: €100
*€10 to exclusively attend lectures on Music & Joyce or Design & Music
