Calling all second level students - Have girls in your school ever had the chance to meet women working in engineering and technology who have responsible, rewarding and well-paid jobs? DIT “WAVES” (Women A Voice in Engineering Society) plan to offer female secondary level pupils an insight into the world of women engineers and technologists working in all areas of society.

Through a series of talks and Q&A sessions our role models will share their experiences of working in the world of engineering and the route they took to get to their current job. Our role models will include current female engineering students, recent graduates and female engineers with years of experience in this field.

Join us in DIT Kevin Street during Engineering Week 2012 to discover the world of engineering as a female in our world today.

Each school may book a maximum of 10 places.
