“Women in Politics” presented by Hélène Conway-Mouret

23 October 2012: The School of Languages in Dublin Institute of Technology invites you to a public discussion on the topic of “Women in Politics”, presented by Hélène Conway-Mouret, Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad, attached to the French Minister of Foreign Affairs.


In June 2012, the newly elected President of France, M. Francois Hollande, appointed Ms Hélène Conway-Mouret, former Head of School of Languages in Dublin Institute of Technology, as Minister Delegate for French Nationals Abroad in his government. Hélène, who had been elected as Senator for French nationals living abroad in 2011, was previously Councillor at the Assembly of French Citizens Abroad and a co-founder of the Party of European Socialists in Dublin. Now, as a Member of the Parliamentary Delegation for the Rights of Women and Equal Opportunities between Men and Women, she returns to DIT to address the audience on a topic close to her heart, Women in Politics.
