DIT offers greatest number of Springboard courses

homepageSpringboard

31 July 2013: DIT is now taking applications for its Springboard programmes, which are offered on a free, part-time basis to jobseekers and will commence this September.

With 16 courses at certificate, degree and masters level, DIT is providing the most Springboard courses out of all the institutes and colleges involved in the initiative.

The programmes lead to qualifications that are in demand among employers. The courses on offer range from food product development to financial analytics, from energy retrofit to game development and from butchery to medical device innovation.

President of DIT, Professor Brian Norton, said, “Upskilling is about building on existing qualifications and experience, and it gives all of us an opportunity to change careers or to move to another level in our current careers.  We are ready to accept applications for courses in a number of areas that are key to growth in the economy, and I would encourage people who are eligible for Springboard to contact us."
