homepageSocietiesChristmasAppeal

25 November 2013: The DIT Societies Xmas Appeal 2013 is being launched this week (28 November) and will run until 13 December.

A call is being put out for fundraising ideas and volunteers from DIT students and staff – with two meetings taking place later today.

The appeal will have lots of activities each day, on campus and off campus and will raise money in aid of five charities.

The charities chosen are the Irish Cancer Society, St Vincent de Paul, the DIT Student Assistance Fund, Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, and Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin. The campaign is named the "Drive for 5". It's hoped to raise €5000 to be split between the five charities.

Along with this fundraising, there will be the annual SVP Toy Appeal – more info to come later this week.

To get involved in the DIT Societies Xmas Appeal, you can sign up yourself, your class, your society or your work department or office.

Two meetings take place today (Monday 25 November) to brainstorm and plan for the appeal so please feel free to pop along:
