Dr Claire Mc Donnell and Dr Michael Seery present Prof Declan McCormack and Dr Michael Mulvey with a copy of the special issue of CERP

18 November 2013: Dr Michael Seery and Dr Claire Mc Donnell of DIT School of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences were guest editors of a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Chemistry Education Research and Practice (CERP), which has just been published.

The theme of the issue was the application of technology to enhance chemistry education. Ten articles featured in the issue and contributions came from researchers in the United States, Germany, Turkey, Greece, Israel, and Ireland (from Dr Barry Ryan, of our own College of Sciences and Health in DIT).

CERP is the premier journal in chemistry education, and is published quarterly by the Royal Society of Chemistry. The journal's editor is Dr Keith Taber, University of Cambridge. It is a free-to-access journal, with the URL: www.rsc.org/cerp and the themed issue can be accessed directly at this link: http://pubs.rsc.org/en/journals/journalissues/rp#!issueid=rp014003&type=current
