Brian recently won an award at the College of Engineering and the Built Environment Awards ceremony here in DIT. He was awarded the Ecocem-sponsored Best Phase 6 Bricklaying Student award and was presented with it by Susan McGarry, a DIT graduate and the Technical Development Manger for Ecocem, which produces eco-friendly cement and low carbon concrete.

Brian will travel to Leipzig, Germany, this July to compete in the prestigious WorldSkills competition. He will be part of a 14-member team travelling from Ireland.
