Dublin School of Architecture presents flatTOP-RETROFIT

The Dublin School of Architecture, DIT Bolton Street, will present the work of a number of its Springboard supported programmes at flatTOP-RETROFIT 2013 this Friday (7 June).

In September 2012, with the financial support of the Higher Education Authority and Springboard, the School admitted 100 unemployed architects and architectural technologists to its programme in Energy Retrofit Technology, Thermal Bridge Assessment and BIM Technologies.

Their work, featuring the Near Zero Energy Building (NZEB) sustainable retrofit of flatTOP (a 5-storey apartment block for DCC) will be presented at the session in Room 259 in DIT Bolton Street on 7 June (4-6pm).

Guests will also be invited to tour Show13, the Dublin School of Architecture end of year exhibition, which opens that evening.

The work will also be shown in Studio 3a, Linenhall, DIT Bolton Street from Friday.
