Dublin School of Architecture End of Year show has opened

11 June 2013: The Dublin School of Architecture End of Year Exhibition has been officially launched by Ciaran O’Connor, State Architect/Principal Architect in the Office of Public Works.

O’Connor, who is a graduate of DIT, toured the exhibits at the show and complimented the students on the high calibre of their work.

The exhibition, which is called SHOW ’13, takes place at DIT Linen Hall, Bolton Street, until this Friday (14 June) from 9am to 5pm.

It includes ‘Schools of Thought’ (the work of fourth and fifth year architecture students), ‘Re-imagining Hawkins House’ (the work of fourth year architectural technology students) and the ‘flatTOP-Retrofit’ project (the work of Springboard Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Analysis & Energy Retrofit programme).


Work from the Timber Product Technology programme, the Buildings Management (Maintenance & Conservation) and the various apprenticeship programmes is also on display.

SHOW ’13 is open to the public and free of charge.
