WHAT’S THE IRISH FOR ...?

Need to brush up on your Irish? Learning Irish for the first time? Seeking a qualification in Irish? Here are the classes for you!

Oifig na Gaeilge is organising Irish classes this Autumn which will begin the week of Monday 30th September in DIT for staff and students at lunchtimes from 1.15 - 2p.m at 4 different levels, in 3 DIT locations for 8 weeks, supported by the Staff Training & Development Unit and Oifig na Gaeilge.

The Official Languages Act requires that public bodies increase the volume and standard of services available in Irish over a period of time and these classes aim to develop the Irish language capability of staff and students of the Institute.

The classes are aimed at various levels to suit the participants, are based in various DIT campuses, are free of charge and above all else, are enjoyable!
