Launch of SDAR Journal 2013

18 November 2013: DIT’s School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and CIBSE (Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers) have officially launched SDAR Journal 2013 at DIT Kevin Street.

‌SDAR is the online journal of sustainable design and applied research and the 2013 edition was formally launched by FORFAS Chief Executive Marin Shanahan.

Meanwhile, entries to the SDAR Awards are open until 16 December 2013.

The Awards are for any evidence based applied research project. It can be a staff entry or a post graduate entry in any topic related to innovative engineering of the built environment. This can also include architectural projects linked to ensuring low energy buildings. The winners of this competition are normally published in the SDAR Journal.

Short abstracts can be submitted by Monday 16 December 2013 with a shortlist selected and the final taking place in early March 2014. The SDAR Awards are supported by Building Services News and sponsored by John Sisk & Son.
