National Gaeilge Student Societies and Irish Language Officers Training in DIT, Aungier St. Friday 11th October 2013


DIT welcomes the members of Irish Language Student Societies and Irish Language Officers from 3rd level colleges around the country to a training session taking place in Java City, DIT Aungier St. on Friday 11th October from 6.30p.m.

This national training event is organised by the Union of Students in Ireland, Conradh na Gaeilge and Glór na nGael in conjunction with DIT’s Irish language student society, Cumann Gaelach ITBÁC. DIT’s Cumann Gaelach is expecting over a 100 students from all over the country to participate in the event and the training will continue on Saturday in the Conradh na Gaeilge offices on 6 Harcourt St.

This training event gives students from the various societies a unique opportunity to receive expertise and guidance on the roles and functions of the Cumainn and to get to know each other and share experiences and knowledge. An Coimisinéir Teanga, Seán Ó Cuirreáin, Julian de Spáinn, Ard-Rúnaí Chonradh na Gaeilge and Feidhlim Seoighe, Vice-President for Irish, the Union of Students in Ireland will be amongst the speakers taking part in the training event over the weekend and all information is available at
