Stop by the Aungier Street foyer this week….for the IMRAM art display

16 October 2013: If you’ve been wondering what’s on display in the Aungier Street foyer, stop to take a closer look!

Some great pieces of Irish language art are on display until this Friday.

Irish language poets Gabriel Rosenstock, Liam Ó Muirthile, Nuala Ní Chonchuir, Ceaití Ní Bheildiúin, Philip Cummings and Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh launched this vibrant exhibition of Gaeilge literature by DIT Art, Design & Print students at a poetry reading on Monday evening in DIT Aungier St foyer.

The exhibition runs from the 14 -18 October as part of ‌ Irish Language Literature Festival. Lecturers Clare Bell and Brenda Dermody from the School of Art, Design and Printing have curated a third special exhibition of Irish language literature texts imaginatively rendered by DIT design students and IMRAM has booked 30 city centre poster sites to display the best of the students’ work, ensuring that Irish language literature will have a presence in Dublin city centre during the festival.

Everyone is welcome to drop into DIT Aungier St. foyer to view the exhibition and the IMRAM Festival of Irish-Language Literature 2013 programme is available here
