Fifth year students from Synge Street CBS have successfully completed an Information Technology module in the College of Business, Aungier Street. Some 15 students were presented with their certificates by Paul O’Sullivan, Dean and Director of the College of Business.

Their families and staff from DIT and Synge Street were also in attendance. The students developed skills in Microsoft Word and Excel as part of their module.

This is the third year of the programme, which has been managed and delivered by Sean Trimble and Mary Lawlor from the School of Marketing. The objectives are to work with schools in the local community and give students a taste of third level as well as providing them with valuable IT skills.
