The announcement has attracted significant media attention with features in the Sunday Business Post, Irish Independent online and Business and Leadership online.

Now in its twelfth year, the Docklands Innovation Park Enterprise Awards, sponsored by PwC is the initiative of the Bolton Trust and DIT Hothouse and is aimed at showcasing the innovative companies emerging from Docklands Innovation Park to investors and those with an interest in start-ups.

Last year’s winner, Smart Wall Paint, went on to raise investment and now employs ten people. The company has also increased its revenue six fold in 2013 over 2012, aided by the launch of its global distributor support program, a growing network of global distributors which now stretches from Ireland and the UK to Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Founder of Smart Wall Paint, Ronan Clarke stressed that “The Docklands Innovation Park Enterprise Awards really put Smart Wall Paint on the radar and certainly proved to be a launch pad. The recognition and publicity that has been associated with it has been great and I would recommend this to any start-up businesses looking to develop brand awareness at home and abroad.”

The Awards will take place on the evening of Thursday 6th March 2014 at PWC offices in the Docklands Innovation Park on Dublin’s East Wall Road.
