DIT Scholar’s exhibition captures Dublin's docks past and present

Rhythms of a Port, by DIT’s Moira Sweeney on show until July 15

Set in an imposing redbrick warehouse on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay beside the Samuel Beckett Bridge, Dublin 2,  Rhythms of a Port is a new film installation by Moira Sweeney, DIT Fiosraigh Scholar, School of Media. Rhythms of a Port is now showing at Red Brick Warehouse, Sir John Rogerson's Quay everyday 12-6pm until 15th July.  Moira’s latest piece of work brings to life personal reflections, stories and memories of dockworkers, boatmen and port managers. Her multi-media descriptions of everyday reality on a contemporary working dock contrast with history, to reflect on a transformed way of life.
