Swift Talk - DIT Grangegorman, 23 October

The DIT Green Campus Team is installing swift boxes at Grangegorman very soon! To raise awareness of this project and these amazing birds, we are hosting a talk at St. Laurence, DIT Grangegorman on Thursday 23 October at 7pm.  This event is in association with Bird Watch Ireland (Tolka Valley Branch), Dublin City Council and popular bird expert Eric Dempsey.


Refreshments will be served from 7pm, there will be a swift exhibition on display from DCC, plus great information talks from those in the know! 

7.00pm: Doors open.  Tea/coffee available and exhibition of swift boxes.

7.30pm: Welcome – Brian Gormley (DIT) and Dermot McCabe (Tolka     Branch)

7.35pm: Niamh Ni Cholmain, Biodiversity Facilitator, DCC

7.50pm: Eric Dempsey, Birds Ireland

8.30pm: Q&A

8.40pm: End
