RICS Land Group hosts DIT alumni evening in London

Over 60 London based DIT graduates made their way to RICS HQ last Thursday evening (06th November 2014)  for a night of networking and socialising. The London Irish network is very strong and none more so than those involved in the built environment and related sectors.

RICS president Louise Brooke Smith FRICS opened proceedings with an introduction to RICS and its goals. Ex Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) president and DIT graduate Angela Brady spoke on the current work climate for DIT graduates in London and on some of her professional experiences whilst DIT department of surveying and construction management stalwarts Tom Dunne FRICS and Martin Hanratty FRICS gave an update on DIT and the much awaited move to a new combined campus at Grangegorman.
