Inventor of the Month - win ?250Posted: 21 October, 2015
From September to December 2015, DIT Hothouse is running an exciting new Monthly Inventor Competition, offering a €250 prize voucher to the best invention proposal received each month.
The competition aims to promote, uncover and recognise innovation and creativity across DIT and our partner institutions and is open to all staff and students of Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Institute of Technology Tallaght, Dublin (ITTD), Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB), the Institute of Art, Design & Technology, Dun Laoghaire (IADT) and National College of Ireland (NCI).
Congratulations to the winners of the September ‘Inventor of the Month’ – Dr. Keith Sunderland and Thomas Woolmington from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in DIT. Their winning entry was software for Wind Speed Power Estimation.
If you have innovative business ideas, novel inventions, industry focused research, an interesting student project or group assignment, why not submit your application? Entries will be scored on their originality, benefits, market potential, and development/ commercialisation feasibility.
