DIT Fashion Show 2016 - Irelands next top student models have been selected

Posted: 12 November, 2015

Last night, 11th November 2015, the DIT Fashion Society hosted their annual model castings with guest judges; Holly White, Xposé stylist and presenter, fashion stylist Brian Conway, and leading men?s fashion blogger Rob Kenny.

Following the castings, 40 students were selected and will now go ahead to model in Ireland’s largest student run fashion event, the DIT Fashion Show in Vicar Street, April 2016.

The DIT Fashion show, entirely run by students is now going into its thirteenth year. Not only will the 40 models picked from last night's casting get the opportunity to showcase the fashions of Dublin in front of 1,000 people in Vicar Street, but two models will have an opportunity to win a modelling contract with 1st Option Model Management at the Fashion Show in April 2016.‌

Guest judge Holly White, fashion blogger and Xposé stylist, commented on the DIT Fashion Society Model Castings “I was delighted to be asked to judge the castings because I’ve been going to the DIT Fashion Show for years now and it's definitely a show that stands out to me every year. I always cannot believe it's student run, and student participated in. It’s really exciting to see it at the early formation stages and I’m really excited to see how fabulous the show is going to be on the night. It’s a very tough call to be here today though!”
