DIT hosts Retail Symposium 2016 Feb 01 - 04

Posted: 2 February, 2016

This February, 01st through to the 04th, DIT will host its annual symposium on Retailing.

Run as part of the MBS in Retail Management at the DIT School of Retail & Services Management, College of Business, this year, the symposium will offer a variety of narratives on the role and significance of innovation and creativity in contemporary retail organisations.  There is a growing need for retailers to develop creative solutions through innovation to address disruptive changes in the marketplace.  The development of multiple perspectives on creativity and innovation in retailing could be viewed as being of significant strategic value to both individual business growth and national retail sector development.  The symposium will be host to an eclectic mix of views from Retailer CEO’s, Senior Managers & Innovation specialists on the role and importance of innovation and creativity in an increasingly disrupted retail marketplace.  The Symposium is being held in Management House on the Aungier Street Campus.
