By bringing mindfulness and compassion to these areas we can begin to care for ourselves and even to cultivate real joy and happiness at work. In this talk Sharon Salzberg will outline some of the ways in which meditation can be woven into the fabric of the working day, helping to reduce stress and burnout while increasing concentration, creativity and clarity. 

Sharon Salzberg is a world renowned meditation teacher and New York Times best-selling author. She is the co-founder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and has played a crucial role in bringing Eastern meditation practices to the West. Sharon has been a student of meditation since 1971, guiding retreats worldwide since 1974. She is a weekly columnist for On Being and a regular contributor to The Huffington Post.
