Leveraging Social Media in Public Relations and Public Affairs

The DIT PR/PA Society hosts a conference on campus in Aungier Street on Friday 22nd of April, on the theme of 'Leveraging Social Media in Public Relations and Public Affairs.'

Running from 11pm to 5pm, the conference programme includes talks on creative content, digital strategy, evaluation and much more, with top class guest speakers.

According to Clara Tobin, a member of the organising committee, “We want speakers to share how they communicate with stakeholders, employees, and consumers by using social media. The aim of the conference is to discover how different sectors of public relations leverage social media to drive results and the effectiveness of such communication.”

The conference is open to all students, graduates and public relations professionals interested in networking and gaining insights into the role of social media to drive results.
