DIT launches Centenary Scholarships for international studentsPosted: 6 May, 2016
DIT has launched a new programme of scholarships for international students who wish to study at Masters level in Ireland.
The programme aims to attract excellent candidates who intend to study on one of the wide range of full-time taught Masters programmes in DIT.
Introducing the scholarship programme, the President of DIT, Professor Brian Norton said, "Over the last one hundred years many things have changed in Ireland and around the globe. It is important that we all develop opportunities to share our views and experiences and that our students develop an understanding of, and an empathy with, other cultures. Therefore, we feel this is a very appropriate moment for us to launch our DIT Centenary Scholarship Programme to encourage excellent candidates from around the world to apply to undertake postgraduate studies at Masters Level in DIT. I am delighted to announce that we will now offer 60 scholarships across our four Colleges - Arts & Tourism, Business, Engineering & Built Environment and Sciences & Health – and we look forward to welcoming those Scholars to DIT for the academic year 2016-17."
The Scholarship will cover 50% of tuition fees on a taught Masters programme for which the Scholar has been offered a place. Details of how to apply are available on the website here
