Ask the expert - MATLAB masterclasses for staff and students

Posted: 19 September, 2017

DIT recently acquired a campus-wide license for Mathworks products such as MATLAB and Simulink.

Three-dimensional beam pattern for a 10-by-10 uniform rectangular array, visualized in Phased Array System Toolbox available in MATLAB.

In order to support staff and students in using these important products, MATLAB will host masterclasses in DIT Kevin Street on Friday, 20th October 2017 from 9 am to 1 pm.

The sessions will be led by Loren Shuren, a Mathworks expert with over thirty years’ experience. Shuren co-authored several of the company’s products making major contributions to the design of the MATLAB language, and attendees of the masterclass will benefit greatly from Loren Shuren’s extensive MATLAB experience. Shuren will be assisted by Jasmina Lazić, Education Technical Specialist at MathWorks, specialising in optimisation techniques and image processing in MATLAB.
