Making a Show: Visual Merchandising at DIT

The graduating class of Visual Merchandising and Display in the DIT School of Creative Arts will showcase their final year projects at the Graduate Exhibition in Grangegorman from 01 June.

The lecturer Kerry Meakin says the final year students undertook a range of very challenging and highly visible projects, including window displays for Arnotts, Dunnes Stores and Debenhams; instore displays for Brown Thomas, Ikea, Avoca, TopShop, House of Fraser, and Kildare Village; and a media campaign for the lifestyle store Industry."Students devised their concepts through the research of current trends alongside the brand identity of the retailer, bringing this to realisation while on industry placement. A reinterpretation of this installation is on show at the Dublin School of Creative Arts GradEx 2017."
