CAO Open Day for Culinary Arts and Hospitality

Second level students from all over the country have been invited to DIT Cathal Brugha Street to experience first-hand what it is like to study to become a top chef, hotel manager, event manager, to name just a few exciting careers, in DIT. Students will get the chance to see some of the classes in action and meet with students currently studying all programmes.

For many years, DIT Cathal Brugha Street has been the home of excellence in education in Hospitality and Culinary Arts and currently the college is home to approximately 3,000 students across a range of disciplines. By September 2020, students and staff of both schools will be located in the Central Quad in DIT Grangegorman which will have large lecture spaces, including a 250-seater main theatre, which are clustered on the ground floor to facilitate the hosting of conferences and public events.  Training restaurants and hospitality facilities will also be located on the ground floor so that students and visitors can enjoy the range of dining options.

You can find out more information about both schools on their individual websites.
